As a Modular Pipe System Manufacturer, share with you. Surface of aluminum
profile: reasons for scratches, abrasions, and scratches:
1.Debris on the surface of the ingot
2. Ingot composition segregation, a large number of segregation floats on the surface
3. When the ingot is not homogenized or the effect of the homogenization treatment is not good, there is a certain number of hard metal particles in the ingot. When metal flows through the work belt during extrusion
These segregation floats or hard metal particles attach to the surface of the work belt or cause damage to the work belt, eventually causing scratches on the surface of the profile.
4. There are sundries on the mold cavity or work belt, and the hardness of the mold work belt is low, which will cause the surface of the work belt to be injured during extrusion and scratch the profile;
5. There are bare metal or graphite bars in the discharge track or swing bed with hard inclusions. Scratches the surface of the profile when it comes in contact with the profile;
6. When the fork material bar sends the profile from the discharge track to the swing table, the profile is injured due to too fast speed;
7. Scratches caused by artificially dragging profiles on the swing bed;
8. During the transportation process, the profiles may cause friction due to friction or extrusion.
Aluminum Profile
Solution:
1. Strictly control the quality of ingot chemical composition;
2. Improve mold repair quality,
3. Improve the precision of mold manufacturing and regular nitriding of the mold and strictly implement the nitriding process parameters;
4. Use soft felt and plastic strip to isolate the profile from the assistive device. Minimize contact damage between profiles and assistive devices;
5. Handle gently during production, try to avoid dragging or flipping the profile at will;
6. Reasonably place the profiles in the material box, and try to avoid friction with each other.
What are the main processes of Aluminum Profile coloring?
(1) Surface pretreatment: The surface of the profile is cleaned by chemical or physical methods, and the pure matrix is exposed to help obtain a complete and dense artificial oxide film. Mirror or matte surfaces can also be obtained by mechanical means.
(2) Anodizing: Under certain process conditions, the surface of the pre-treated profile has undergone anodizing, resulting in a dense, porous, and strong AL203 film.
(3) Sealing: The pores of the porous oxide film formed after anodizing are closed, so that the anti-pollution, corrosion resistance and abrasion resistance of the oxide film are enhanced. The oxide film is colorless and transparent. Using the strong adsorption of the oxide film before sealing, some metal salts are adsorbed and deposited in the film holes, which can make the appearance of the profile show many colors other than natural colors, such as black, bronze, golden yellow and stainless Color etc.
